I was a customer with Erie for over 8 years. Over a year ago I was hit by a teenager with NO insurance, so in order to get my car fixed I had to submit a claim to my insurance company so I did..

I figure being a loyal customer and all they would definitely take care of my situation they did but my insurance rate went from $68 to $147.33 per month.. Long story short the accident was not my fault but I would pay for it like it was.. NOT FAIR.. I decided I would definitely find another insurance Co.

who would not punish me for someone else's fault. I cancelled my policy in 8/16 and on 10/16 There was a debit out of my account.. Really two months later.. I sent in everything that was required of me to cancel my policy..

I will be contacting the Better Business Bureaus as well as the Attorney general's office both in Columbus, Ohio and in Erie, Pa. regarding this issue.

Reason of review: Order processing issue.
