After 28 years with Erie Insurance and having NEVER filed a home insurance claim, Erie dropped my coverage. Actually it was their agent, but Erie did not stop it nor would they reinstate my policy. I was in the process of moving to another state and instead of waiting until we actually moved out of our home Erie dropped our coverage almost a month before we left. Fortunately nothing harped to the home, but had something happened we would have been uninsured. 28 years of loyalty and this is how we were treated. AVOID this insurance company. They WILL NOT be there when you need them. 128d028

Erie does most of it's business in PA and MD. A Licensed Public Adjuster is your best defense. We help you understand the policy, recommend and explain changes to your policy. We can recommend Independant Brokers that can offer you better coverage, often for a lower cost. Joe, if you have a judgement and they will not pay, present the judgement to the Sheriff for collection and insist that he hold a Sheriff's sale, that will get their attention.

I have been in a suit for over 5 years. They have refused to pay several times after ordered by Judge in hearings.
